To put the above into perspective a small size house under 1000 sq. ft. would usually include at least a 650 point inspection, taking about 2 hours for the onsite inspection. An average size home inspection of a 1500 to 2500 sq. ft. home would range from a 800 to 1200 point inspection and takes about 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 hours which includes extra time for answering questions. A larger home with a lot of issues could be a lot more. Add to the above times the report writing back at the office average 3 to 4 hours. You will be hard pressed to find a better home inspection report; See my sample reports here.
